Welcome to the fundraising page for the Riverhead Downtown Double. Your support will benefit local healthcare heroes and the small businesses of downtown Riverhead.
Sponsored by Peconic Bay Medical Center and the Riverhead Business Improvement District, this double impact fundraiser is aimed to support on-campus hospital employees, as well as downtown Riverhead’s small businesses, all facing challenges during the COVID19 pandemic.
Your donation will be used toward purchasing Downtown Dollars, a unified gift card sponsored by the Riverhead BID, that may be used at multiple participating businesses and restaurants. The purchased Downtown Dollars gift cards will then be distributed to the staff at Peconic Bay Medical Center who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic. Gift cards may be redeemed for food, goods and services - generating commerce for downtown merchants.
With every $5,000 raised, 100 gift cards will be distributed by the Medical Center through a raffle system. Every active employee of the hospital will be included in the raffle, from ICU to medical records, environmental services, etc.*
